Awash Bank invites competent and qualified candidates for the following positions.
1. Manager – Business Intelligence and Innovation Division (Re- Advertised)
Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Business Management, Economics, Accounting, and Finance or related field plus a minimum of 8 years experience with at least 3 years in a supervisory position. Masters in a Business-related course (added advantage). Professional course in related fields (added advantage)

2. Principal – Business Intelligence and Innovation Officer (Re- Advertised)
Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Business Management/ Economics/Finance/Accounting or related field plus a minimum of Six years experience, with at least 2 years at Senior Officer.
Masters in a Business-related course (added advantage). Professional course in related fields (added advantage)

3. Principal – Branch Monitoring & Evaluation Officer
Qualification & Experience:
BA Degree in Business Management, Banking & Finance, Accounting, Economics or related discipline plus a minimum of Seven (7) years of relevant experience.

4. Senior System Administrator
Qualification & Experience:
BSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines with a minimum of six (6) years in System administration or related field out of which 1 year in a supervisory position;

5. Senior Database Administrator
Qualification & Experience:
BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering, and related fields of study with a minimum of six (6) years in Database administration or related field; three (3) of which should be in a senior/equivalent role preferably in the banking sector.
Required Knowledge & Skills
– Knowledge of two or more RDBMS technologies (DB2, Oracle, MS-SQL server & Knowledge of advanced SQL)
– Advanced knowledge of operating systems preferably AIX, and Linux.
– Storages, network, and security knowledge
– Knowledge of high availability (HA) and Disaster recovery options
– Knowledge of indexes, index management, and statistics
– Problem-solving & Presentation skills of Technical Information
– Attention to detail and quality focus & Diversified operating system skills.
– Analytical, Communication, and documentation skills.
– Interpersonal & Planning skills

6. Senior Mobile and Internet Banking Officer
Qualification & Experience:
BSc degree in computer science, MIS, e-Commerce, or related disciplines. plus a minimum of six (6) years of relevant experience in the banking industry with proven track records in project management & internet / mobile banking development for corporate and personal customers

7. Mobile & Internet Banking Officer II
Qualification & Experience:
BSc Degree in Computer Science, MIS, e-Commerce, or related fields plus a minimum of 4 years experience in the banking industry with proven track records on internet/mobile or agency banking development for corporate and personal customers.

8. System Administrator II
Qualification & Experience:
BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines with a minimum of four (4) years in System administration or related field;

9. Database Administrator II
Qualification & Experience:
BSc Degree in Computer Science, Computer engineering, Software engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related disciplines with a minimum of four (4) years in Database administration or related fields; at least 1 of which preferably in the banking sector.

10. System Administrator I
Qualification & Experience:
BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines with a minimum of two (2) years in System administration or related field;

11. Database Administrator
Qualification & Experience:
BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related disciplines with a minimum of two (2)years in Database administration or related fields;

12. Senior Auto Mechanic
Qualification & Experience:
BSc degree in Auto Mechanic or related
Driving License /Mandatory/
Professional course in Auto Electricity /Added advantage/ plus a minimum of 4 years in auto mechanics; with at least 2 years experience as garage technician.

13. Office Machine Technician
Qualification & Experience:
Diploma in Electronics or related fields plus a minimum of 3 years in handling office machines.
Term of Employment: Permanent for all Positions
Skills Requirement: Knowledge of computer operation is mandatory
